| C. 1936. My Mom wrote on reverse ""Eleanor Strome / Me / Pat / Mary Lou Strome / Pat & I 7 & 8 grade in Miles City."" So at the early age of a 7th grader, Mom had already acquired the habit of writing down information on the back of photos. Of course, she perfected the art to include enclosing historical notes with much more than photographs to include mementoes, newspaper clippings, hair clippings, jewelry from Dad, awards, greeting cards, souvenirs, and just about anything else she could attach a note to, or enclose a note with inside a little plastic bag.
