| Mom is the third child from the left standing. Unfortunately, she lowered her head a bit when the photo was taken. She looks to be about ten, don't you think? That would make this 1931 or so. ""Get dressed up today, child!"" mothers say. ""Your getting your picture taken today!"" The girls put on their best dresses - do they all look handmade? Most boys wore a clean pair of overalls. Looks like a couple boys were from well-to-do families, as they sport fine suits complete with vests and neckties. And does the school teacher with frazzled hair appear that way because the North Dakota prairie winds are blowing, or because she has a bunch of hellions for students?
