1920prints001.jpg - Uncle Joe Maloney states, "This picture is of my Father [James Joseph Maloney] and Mother [Katherine (Thomas) Maloney] and the young girl in the background is my cousin Gertrude Packer. I can only guess as to the date of the Picture, probably 1920 or late teens. She later married, was a widow and remarried a Polish guy with a long Polish name, which I do not remember; he died and she was once again a widow. She has children living in the Chester and Philly area. Gertrude died several years ago. She was last living in a vacation home of her daughter in Ocean City, N.J." I found a Sep 2005 email from Uncle Joe Maloney who replied to a question I had asked. I asked, " I have this image on file. I often wondered who the little girl was. She was your cousin, so whose daughter was she? Who are the Packers?" He replied back, "I see why you asked about “Packere”. I should have written,” Cochran “ as in Gertrude Cochran." So, the young girl in the above is Gertrude Cochran and not Gertrude Packer.
