growth for the first time in 16 years — and the largest increase

Riley, Ganse, Peuler
Get Nod
Running
unopposed, Art Riley recieved the Capital District's unanimous
acclamation as Governor 2007-2008 during the
Capital District Convention which was recently held in Rockville,
MD. Also unopposed, Tom Ganse received the District's unanimous
acclamation as Governor Elect 2007-2008. None of the three
candidates (Dick Feeser,
Charlie Adams, Jerry Peuler) who were vying for Capital District's
Endorsement for the position of Kiwanis International
Trustee
received
a
majority vote on the first ballot, necessitating a run-off
between Adams and Peuler. On the second ballot, Peuler won
the endorsement.
By
the time the dust settled there were 590 registrants
to the capial District Convention held recently in
Rockville, Maryland. Chairman, Charles Falck and
his committee would like to thank all those who participated
in making the event a success. We look forward to
seeing everybody next year in Richmond.
